Be a festival Ambassador!

Issaquah Salmon Days Salmbassadors

The Salmbassadors are an honorary group of individuals who serve the community of Issaquah as year-round ambassadors for the Festival. The Salmbassadors spend each spring and summer traveling to various festivals throughout the Northwest, including British Columbia, Oregon, and Washington.

Terri De Lile, Captain Coho and Sammy the Salmon wait in the sun for the fun to start.

The Salmbassadors were established in 1989 for the purpose of giving more people in the community a sense of ownership of Salmon Days. The group consists of volunteers from Issaquah and the surrounding areas, who take pride in being "ambassadors" for the Festival.

In addition to Salmon Days, the Salmbassadors attend and help with Issaquah's Down Home Fourth of July Celebration.

(If you're looking for information on hosting, the Salmbassadors Hospitality Brochure is available here.)

For more information on the Salmbassadors, contact Captain Coho Joyce Adams.
